Prayers for Haiti

We are sure by now, you have all heard about the news from Haiti. We are in the process of writing our regular blog update, but in the meantime, we wanted to just drop a quick note to let you know that we are ok. Thank you to everyone who wrote emails to check in on us after the earthquake. While they felt it at the HOH, and several of the aftershocks as well, the epicenter was quite a distance from us. It was very upsetting for everyone, bringing back many painful memories, but we did not sustain any damage at the HOH, nor did any of our young adults who live in Port-au-Prince.

The earthquake happened in the South of Haiti where it has done much damage and had many causalities and injured. On top of everything else that has been going on in Haiti, this has been just heartbreaking. They could really use your prayers for God's provision during this difficult time, the need feels overwhelming. But, through you all, we have seen God provide for us in times of great need in the past. We know He is able and can provide for those in the South as well. If you are interested in helping with this specific need, we can tell you about some people we know who are helping out directly.
